    ASME B18.2.1 Hex Bolts are among the most widely used inch-series fasteners, governed by dimensional requirements for head height, width across flats, body diameter, thread length, bolt length tolerances, and fillet radii across a broad range of nominal sizes. ASME B18.2.1 serves as the foundational dimensional reference that most ASTM bolt specifications defer to, since ASTM focuses on material chemistry and mechanical properties. These hex bolts are specified with ASTM A1014/A1014M for UNS N07718 (Inconel 718) bolting, combining precise dimensional compliance with high-performance alloy properties for extreme service environments. Also available in ASTM A307, A354 Grade BC/BD, and A193 grades across carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and nonferrous families. Both full-size and reduced-body configurations are offered with UNC, UNF, or 8UN thread series.
